Overview

Our First Citizens Wealth team delivers integrated banking, investment, insurance, and wealth solutions designed to support clients at every stage of life. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
Provides ongoing fiduciary monitoring and administration of accounts to achieve full compliance and identify potential risks. Responsible for relationship management and administration of assigned accounts. Serves as the administrative partner to the relationship management team. Tracks distributions, fees, discretionary requests, and other activities associated with account activity. Leads in account acceptance review, onboarding, and asset transition. Ensures accounts are properly documented and adhere to regulatory standards. This position may administer and manage smaller trust accounts across the entire bank footprint, which may limit client interaction to virtual.
Responsibilities
  • Fiduciary Management - Administers, services, and monitors personal trust accounts. Ensures accounts comply with all applicable regulations as well as trust document directives. Assists audits and annual reviews.
  • Relationship Management - Maintains open and effective communication with grantors, beneficiaries, and other interested parties. Provides direct client contact for issues, concerns, and updates. Ensures client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaboration - Works closely with expansion market associates to service assigned accounts.

This position may be filled as a Fiduciary Officer level I or II based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience (Fiduriay Officer I) or 4 years of experience (Fiduciary Officer II) in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, or Financial Planning OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience (Fiduciary Officer I) or 8 years of experience (Fiduciary Officer II) in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, or Financial Planning
Preferred Skills: National Trust School or other certifications specific to Personal Trust Fiduciary such as CTFA. Knowledge of trust systems, risk mitigation, and various types of Fiduciary accounts.
