What is a trust assistant?

Trust Assistants are professionals who support trust officers and administrators in managing trusts, estates, and fiduciary accounts. Their duties typically include handling documentation, maintaining records, assisting with client communications, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations. Trust Assistants play a key role in the daily operations of trust departments at banks, law firms, or wealth management companies, helping to ensure that clients' assets are managed efficiently and according to their wishes.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a trust assistant?

A Trust Assistant typically handles a variety of administrative tasks such as maintaining client records, preparing account documentation, processing distributions, and assisting with compliance reporting.
