Job Title: Truss BuilderJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team in a truss plant that takes pride in delivering quality work. We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude and a strong drive to work. While experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for assembling trusses using various tools and techniques.
Responsibilities- Feed boards into automated saws and catch them on the back end.
- Sort boards based on truss and project numbers.
- Manually lift boards onto truss tables.
- Read blueprints to determine the size and placement of plates.
- Use a hammer to secure joint plates onto truss boards.
- Operate a nailer to fasten boards together.
- Band completed trusses in the yard for shipping.
Essential Skills- General labor experience.
- Familiarity with construction and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Basic math skills.
- Carpentry knowledge.
- Capability to interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working on truss tables with a team.
- Ability to work on hands and knees and climb onto 4-foot tall truss tables.
