Looking for a Truss Manufacturer Lead!
Key Responsibilities:
Truss Fabrication: Construct roof and floor trusses according to architectural plans and specifications.
Measurement: Accurately measure and cut lumber and other materials to precise dimensions, ensuring trusses meet design requirements.
Assembly: Assemble truss components using hand and power tools, such as saws, nail guns, and hammers.
Quality Control: Inspect trusses for quality, structural integrity, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
Material Handling: Safely handle and transport lumber and truss components, occasionally lifting heavy materials.
Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient production and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the manufacturing process.
Inventory Management: Keep track of materials and supplies, report shortages, and maintain a well-organized work area.
Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to truss fabrication, including production records and quality control reports.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of construction experience, preferably in woodworking or framing.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in truss manufacturing.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
