What is a Trump Golf job?

Trump Golf jobs refer to positions available at golf courses and resorts owned or operated by The Trump Organization. These roles can include golf course maintenance, hospitality, food and beverage service, event planning, management, and more. Employees work to provide high-quality experiences for guests and members at Trump-branded golf properties. The company typically seeks individuals with strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality and golf industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a golf course manager at a Trump Golf property?

Familiarity with golf course management software, budgeting tools, and certification from organizations like the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) is highly valued. Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills set outstanding managers apart in this role. These competencies ensure the course operates efficiently, delivers an exceptional guest experience, and maintains the high standards expected at luxury golf properties.

Childhood Cancer Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to families battling pediatric cancer. Our programs combine direct family assistance, wish grants, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and high-impact fundraising experiences to help families during some of their most challenging moments.

Adventure Ted, our superhero spokesbear, represents our philosophy to “See the adventure in all that you do.” We are seeking ambitious, creative, and highly motivated students to join our Communications Team and gain hands-on experience supporting major nonprofit events and campaigns.

Internship Focus

This internship will provide students with practical experience in communications, public relations, event marketing, partnership development, media outreach, and nonprofit storytelling.

Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to communications and outreach surrounding two major Childhood Cancer Society fundraising initiatives:

  • Mayor’s Benefit Dinner – New Jersey (October 15th, 2026): An upscale benefit dinner hosted in collaboration with the Mayor and First Lady of Saddle River, bringing together community leaders, philanthropists, executives, and supporters for an evening benefiting families battling pediatric cancer.

  • Adventure Ted Golf Event – Trump National Doral, Miami (February 15th, 2027): A major golf fundraising initiative at Trump National Doral in Miami, bringing Childhood Cancer Society’s Adventure Ted platform to South Florida through golf, philanthropy, corporate partnerships, donor engagement, and event-driven fundraising.

These events will serve as major case studies throughout the internship, giving students the opportunity to help build awareness, participation, partnerships, and visibility around real-world nonprofit campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support communications and marketing strategy for the Mayor’s Benefit Dinner and Miami golf outing at Trump National Doral

  • Draft and refine emails, media pitches, promotional copy, social media content, and other communications materials

  • Research relevant local, regional, and national media opportunities surrounding Childhood Cancer Society events and programs

  • Identify golf, luxury, philanthropy, lifestyle, family, and nonprofit media and influencer opportunities relevant to upcoming campaigns

  • Support outreach designed to attract golfers, donors, sponsors, auction contributors, and event attendees

  • Help coordinate communications with confirmed partners and participating organizations

  • Brainstorm creative campaigns and partnership concepts that can expand Childhood Cancer Society and Adventure Ted’s reach

  • Track outreach efforts, responses, follow-ups, and campaign progress

  • Participate in regular Communications Team meetings and collaborate directly with organizational leadership

  • Assist with additional Childhood Cancer Society communications initiatives as opportunities emerge

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, event management, nonprofit management, business, or a related field

  • Comfortable conducting professional outreach via email, phone, and social media

  • Strong research and organizational abilities

  • Ability to communicate professionally with businesses, media contacts, influencers, donors, and community partners

  • Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of assigned projects

  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through consistently on outreach and follow-up

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment

  • Passion for using communications and creativity to support a meaningful cause
