Job description

POSITION PURPOSE:

Manages, directs and organizes Golf Shop operations to maintain/achieve revenue goals, quality, service, merchandising and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding guest experience.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supporting, training, and developing all golf shop staff according to Trump National Doral Miami policies, service standards and guidelines.
  • Support all supervisors with leading associates.
  • Responsible for overall guest experience in the golf shop. Focus on golfer/guest experience from arrival to golf shop to departure.
  • Assists managing records and other administrative functions of the department:
    1. PO’s, invoicing, etc when necessary
  • Ensure golf shop staff is well verse on the golf package billing process.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, directs and supervises staff for the purpose of delivering 5 star service standards and a high quality golf experience.

    2. Asst Pros / Golf Desk Attendants
    3. Retail Attendants in Golf Shop
  • Oversees the scheduling of staff to ensure proper coverage is maintained based on the volume of play and groups. Establishes customer service standards and ensures that the proper LSOP’s are followed for each area.
  • Ensures the maintenance and appealing merchandising of the retail shop.
  • Assists and oversees in inventories.
  • To ensure proper inventory levels in Golf Shop (with Director of Retail):
    1. Manage Open to Buy in Golf Shop
    2. Manage Markdowns
    3. Organize and execute special promotions, displays and events to maximize revenue, profit and guest experience
  • Respond to guest comments and charge disputes.
  • Initiating changes to improve the operation.

OTHER:

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
