Job description

True World Foods Columbus is the leading provider of products to Sushi Restaurants and Steakhouses with delivery in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia out of the Columbus Facility.

We are looking to hire a Delivery Representative to drive our product to our customers. The job is Monday-Friday with overtime available. Hourly wage paid bi-weekly, extremely competitive benefits including full Medical, Dental and Vision as well as 401k after 90 days.

Essential functions:

  • Drives truck to deliver products to customers
  • Checks products on loading dock and assembles items according to customer orders
  • Loads and unloads products into and from truck
  • Reviews invoices and matches them to ensure that orders are accurate; locates missing products and/or initiate corrections.
  • Collects cash and checks from customers
  • Reports product returns or complaints from customers to TWF’s office (Salesmen)
  • Completes daily logs, equipment reports, trip reports, and any other documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Completes necessary forms: Daily Vehicle Checklist, Adequate Ice Report, Charge/Cash Report, Rejection/Return Product Form
  • Attends meetings as required with Coordinators and Delivery Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 months of related driving delivery trucks or vans is preferred, but will train
  • 21 years of age with a current Driver’s License. Current DOT Certificate preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of multiple, regional delivery areas
  • Knowledge of safe driving methods
  • Knowledge of company products
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle including trucks and vans
  • Ability to read a map
