The position is situated in a rehabilitation facility within the vibrant setting of Miami, Florida, where our team interacts daily with a diverse range of patients. • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations, collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to create comprehensive and tailored treatment plans.
• Provide consultation to healthcare providers, ensuring continuity of care and effectively addressing any patient-specific concerns.
• Interact appropriately with patients of various ages and cultural backgrounds while adhering to our established customer service standards.
• Document treatment evaluations and patient responses meticulously, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional documentation standards, including submitting charges for the services provided.
• Regularly participate in leadership functions, community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and marketing efforts, while also mentoring and supervising physical therapy assistants and interns.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through staff meetings, continuing education programs, and self-directed learning endeavors.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients, their families, and healthcare providers, discussing treatment plans and progress at scheduled intervals.
• Effectively manage departmental resources and support staff, ensuring optimal functioning and patient care quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that impact mobility and overall function. Our facility is dedicated to providing personalized care plans that cater to individual patient needs, fostering their rehabilitation journey and improving quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems is necessary to manage patient information accurately.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and evidence-based practice methodologies is advantageous.
• Experience in community outreach or patient education initiatives is a plus.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
