What are the typical responsibilities of a horticulturist working at a company like True Leaf?

As a horticulturist at True Leaf, you would typically be responsible for overseeing the cultivation and care of plants, managing greenhouse operations, and monitoring plant health and growth. This includes tasks such as planting, watering, pruning, pest management, and maintaining detailed records of plant progress. Collaboration with other team members—such as agronomists, quality control staff, and production managers—is common to ensure optimal yield and product quality. The role often requires both hands-on work in the growing environment and data analysis to improve cultivation methods. Career advancement opportunities may include moving into supervisory or research roles as you gain experience.
