Rental Manager (Forklifts/Lift Trucks/Aerial Equipment)

Location: Miami    Dept.: Industrial Division Rental

South Florida Caterpillar dealership seeking a qualified Rental Manager to oversee all aspects of the Industrial Division rental operation. This position is responsible for driving rental revenue growth, maximizing fleet utilization, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient day-to-day rental operations.

Responsibilities

·       Manage daily rental operations for forklifts, lift trucks, aerial equipment, and related assets.

·       Monitor fleet utilization, equipment availability, and rental performance.

·       Support rental pricing, quotations, contracts, and customer account development.

·       Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Transportation departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

·       Maintain rental fleet readiness, safety compliance, and operational standards.

·       Lead and support rental personnel while promoting a positive team environment.

·       Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

·       Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment rental, fleet management, or material handling industries.

·       Previous supervisory experience preferred.

·       Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

·       Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

·       Valid Florida driver license with an acceptable driving record.

·       High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

·       Willingness to travel throughout the dealership territory for customer visits, branch support, meetings, and manufacturer training as business needs require.
