Job description

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Rental Manager in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Rental Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the rental store/stores to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable operation to support the rental store/stores and corporate objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate Team Members. Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years’ management experience in a service related industry; Minimum of two years supervisory experience; Experience in the Rental Equipment Industry preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred.

Requirements for the Rental Manager position include:

Physical requirements must be met for the Rental Manager job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear.
