Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform advanced diagnostics, full preventative maintenance (PM) services, and comprehensive mechanical and electrical repairs on commercial trucks and box trucks. This role ensures fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently on complex systems including drivetrain, brake, suspension, and electrical components.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on brake, clutch, HVAC, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and 5th wheel systems.
  • Conduct authorized safety and emissions inspections while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Diagnose issues and assist with drivetrain repairs including drivelines, U-joints, and differentials.
  • Accurately document maintenance, inspections, and repairs on work orders and reports.
  • Safely operate tools and diagnostic equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a diesel technician working on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, brakes, clutches, drivetrain, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with wheel end repairs, OEM brake jobs, major repairs, and box truck electrical systems preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred/training available) with ability to pass DOT drug screenings.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs; high school diploma/GED and ASE certifications are a plus.
