Local & Over The Road Truck Drivers - Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, hourly position.
$2,500.00 Sign On Bonus Available - $1,000.00 Referral Bonus Available
Job Summary - The Class A tanker truck driver position requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement to start with Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.
  • Over the road drivers start their week either on Sundays or Mondays - Back home every weekend!
Essential Job Functions
  • The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations.
  • This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.

  • Full time employees are eligible for a full benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance as well as 401 (k) with company matching funds available.

  • Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
Preferred Candidate Job Requirements -
  • 21 years of age
  • 12 months of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
  • Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement (obtain hazmat within 60 days)
  • No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
  • No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
  • No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and functionality testing.
