Reports to: General Manager

Job Description

Summary/objective

A Tow Truck Driver is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and professional towing services to our current and new customers.

Essential functions

  • Operate a flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations.
  • Respond to dispatch calls promptly and professionally
  • Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles using proper procedures and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the tow truck to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement when necessary
  • Follow all DOT, company, and local safety policies and procedures
