Job description

Desert Garden RV Park, part of the Sky Resorts family, is seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated Guest Services amp; Reservations Specialist to join our team.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for guests, residents, and prospective visitors while managing the day-to-day operations of our front office. As the sole office team member at this smaller resort, the successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, staying productive throughout the day, and providing exceptional customer service with minimal supervision.
While guest traffic in the office is generally light, this role plays an important part in supporting Sky Resorts' reservation call center operations and will spend a significant portion of the day assisting guests by phone. In addition to guest services and reservations, the position includes light housekeeping responsibilities in common areas, monthly utility meter readings, and other administrative and property support tasks as needed.
Schedule
  • Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Five days per week
  • Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Additional hours may be available during peak season

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services amp; Front Office
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, residents, and visitors
  • Welcome guests and assist with inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and general guest service needs
  • Process incoming mail and packages
  • Maintain accurate guest and reservation records
  • Manage daily office operations independently and efficiently
  • Ensure the office remains organized, professional, and welcoming
Reservations amp; Call Center Support
  • Answer incoming reservation and guest service calls promptly and professionally
  • Assist guests with making, modifying, and canceling reservations
  • Provide accurate information regarding rates, availability, resort amenities, and policies
  • Match guests with appropriate RV sites based on their equipment and needs
  • Promote additional nights, upgraded site options, and resort amenities when appropriate
  • Support Sky Resorts' centralized reservation efforts by assisting with reservation calls across multiple properties
  • Follow up with guests as needed to ensure excellent customer service
  • Collaborate remotely with resort and call center staff to ensure reservation information remains accurate and up to date
Property amp; Administrative Support
  • Monitor office supplies and communicate operational needs to management
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
  • Perform light housekeeping duties in common areas, including the clubhouse, laundry facilities and public restrooms
  • Conduct utility meter readings throughout the resort as scheduled, requiring occasional outdoor walking and activity
  • Assist with administrative projects and seasonal tasks as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and guest service experiences
  • Take initiative during slower periods by completing administrative, organizational, and property support tasks
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, front desk operations, reservations, office administration, or call center environments preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable answering phones for a significant portion of the workday
