The Administrative Program Manager 4 serves as the primary deputy to the Administrative Program Director 4. They oversee operational aspects of the Defined Contributions (DC) side of operations for the Employer Services Department within TRSL and acts as the lead program manager for the sensitive and complex Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) Defined Contribution Plan program.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
-Manages the ORP design and function to include investments fees, customer service contracts, and communication materials through coordination with ORP providers, executive management, investment officers, investment consultants, and the Board of Trustees.
-Manages the ORP program requirements and the three selected providers.
-Reviews and analyzes quarterly/annual ORP provider reports and produces data analysis to senior managers.
-Monitors and takes the lead on legislative changes that could impact the ORP plan design, structure, or day-to-day operations and advises executive management by providing fiscal note information and guidance.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Promotion only open to permanent classified Employees of Teachers' Retirement system of Louisiana. Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a Probation in Lieu of Promotion or Detail to Special Duty appointment.
Location- TRSL is conveniently located near the I-10 / I-12 split on Essen Lane, away from the congestion of downtown Baton Rouge.
