Located on the sugar sand beaches of Hilton Head Island on the southern coast of South Carolina, this oceanfront resort is a tropical paradise unlike anywhere else in this premier destination. The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort offers beautiful oceanfront views to all of our guests.

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking a friendly, engaging, and service-oriented Bellperson to provide exceptional assistance to our guests and support hotel operations. This role plays an important part in creating memorable first and last impressions for our guests by delivering warm hospitality, efficient service, and local expertise to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and interact with guests using friendly and professional communication at all times
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to and from guest rooms
  • Provide information about the hotel, resort amenities, and local points of interest
  • Assist guests with restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and airline ticket requests
  • Deliver parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guest rooms, executive offices, or meeting rooms
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas and the bell stand/closet
  • Follow up on guest concerns or complaints to ensure issues are resolved promptly
  • Coordinate special guest requests such as flowers, rental cars, luggage forwarding, sightseeing tours, and recommendations for local shopping and attractions
  • Operate bell carts safely and efficiently
  • Ensure continuous coverage of the bell stand and assist the Front Desk when needed
  • Escort guests to the Front Desk, meeting rooms, or other areas of the resort when appropriate
  • Arrange taxis or shuttle transportation for guests as needed
  • Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and memorable experience
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions
  • Complete additional duties and tasks as assigned by management
  • Assist guests in locating resort amenities and walk them to their destination when possible
  • Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean uniform and professional appearance
  • Protect confidential information and company assets
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions

Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational abilities
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
