A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A UTAH HIGHWAY PATROL TROOPER
As one of our Utah Highway Patrol Troopers, you'll do an exceptional job of keeping our citizens safe and have a reputation for being helpful and willing to serve our community. Whether it is patrolling the highways to monitor traffic and deter crime, investigating crimes and accidents, helping people in trouble, or providing other law enforcement services, you love playing an active part in our exceptional community. You take your responsibility to the citizens of Utah seriously. Your integrity is impeccable and you provide honest and credible testimony in court as needed.
Though most of your law enforcement work engages your love for interacting with people, you also spend some time applying your attention to detail in preparing reports for investigations and accidents. You are organized and carefully keep track of evidence, paperwork, warrants, and equipment. You show great respect for others and their property. You maintain your assigned vehicles and equipment with care.
