TriStar JCB is an authorized dealer for JCB construction equipment including compact track loaders, skid steer loaders, rough terrain forklifts, backhoes, wheel loaders, excavators, telehandlers, and aerial equipment, among others.
Position Summary
TriStar JCB currently has an opening for an Outside Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. This position is responsible for providing exemplary customer satisfaction to assigned accounts through the sale and promotion of products and services offered by TriStar JCB. As a field-based team member, the Outside Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between TriStar JCB and the customer.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of inside/outside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in the equipment sales or rental industry.
  • Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with commercial and consumer finance
  • Motivated/self-starter

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales and building strong relationships with customers in the industry
  • This role involves handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, providing product information, and closing sales
  • Respond to sales inquiries via phone, in person, and through email
  • Make outbound customer visits to prospective and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
  • Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of equipment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
  • Provide regular sales updates to management
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
