TRIO Talent Search is an early intervention pre-college program that helps students prepare for higher education. TRIO Talent Search serves 814 students annually and works with middle and high school students in Eastern Wake and Johnston Counties (East Wake High, Knightdale High, Zebulon Middle, Wendell Middle, Smithfield Selma High, Selma Middle and Smithfield Middle). 
TRIO Talent Search is seeking Volunteer/Chaperones to assist with the following: 
-Assist TRIO Staff with supervision of students during trips and programming; 
-Serve as bus monitor and assist with sign in/out; 
-Ensure the safety and security of minors while traveling during day and overnight trips; 
-Travel on weekends, spring break, summer, and/or teacher work days to colleges/universities, museums, and other cultural enrichment activities; 
-Provide mentoring and positive role models to minor participants; 
-All activities, travel, accommodations, meals, etc. while serving as Volunteer/Chaperone will be provided.
