About the Role
We are seeking a General Manager / Head of Live Events to lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Tribecaโ€™s live events portfolio. This role reports directly to our Chief Executive Officer and is located in our New York City office.
This role uniquely blends creative vision and commercial leadershipโ€”offering the opportunity to operate as a true business leader while shaping world-class live experiences.
You will own the full lifecycle of eventsโ€”from concept through execution and monetizationโ€”while building a scalable operating model rooted in New York City and expanding nationally and internationally.

Strategic Leadership & Growth
  • Define and execute the vision and long-term growth strategy for Live Events
  • Develop new event formats that blend culture, storytelling, and audience engagement
  • Identify expansion opportunities across the U.S. and select international markets
  • Build scalable frameworks to replicate successful NYC-based models nationally
Creative & Cultural Leadership
  • Shape compelling, culturally relevant live experiences that align with the Tribeca brand
  • Partner with creative, programming, and talent teams to bring innovative ideas to life
  • Balance artistic integrity with commercial viability
NYC Market Leadership
  • Leverage deep expertise in the New York City events ecosystem (venues, labor, permitting, logistics)
  • Navigate the operational complexities unique to NYC production
  • Maintain and expand relationships with venues, city agencies, and production partners
Operations & Production Excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of event execution including production, logistics, staffing, and vendor management
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality events on time and on budget
  • Develop standardized operating procedures and scalable production playbooks
  • Lead risk management, safety, and contingency planning
Revenue, Ticketing & Commercial Performance
  • Own P&L performance across the live events portfolio
  • Drive revenue through ticketing strategy, pricing optimization, and new monetization models
  • Partner with Marketing to maximize audience growth and conversion
  • Analyze performance data to optimize yield and profitability
Financial Leadership
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure disciplined cost management while maintaining premium event quality
  • Build scalable financial models to support growth

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across Operations and Ticketing
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
  • Design an organizational structure that supports expansion beyond NYC
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Brand Partnerships to integrate sponsors into experiences
  • Collaborateย ย ย ย  with Marketing on positioning, campaigns, and audience development
  • Align with Finance on forecasting and performance targets
Partnerships & External Representation
  • Manage relationships with producers, talent, agencies, and vendors
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee key agreements
  • Represent Tribeca as a leader in the live events and cultural space

What You Bring
Experience
  • 10โ€“15+ years in live events, experiential, entertainment, or cultural programming
  • Significant, hands-on experience producing events in NYC is required
  • Strong understanding of the national live events landscape, anchored in NYC expertise
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, complex events
  • Experience owning or managing a P&L, with accountability for revenue and profitability
  • Demonstrated success in budget management and financial planning
  • Experience scaling events across markets (U.S. and/or international) is a plus
  • Background in ticketing, revenue strategy, or event monetization preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary we offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K and PTO.
