Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Inc. from initiation through completion. The individual is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and overseeing architectural, engineering, and sub-contracted teams while ensuring compliance with STOFI regulations, applicable building codes, and industry standards. In addition to construction oversight, the individual provides comprehensive maintenance and asset-management leadership across all STOFI business operations. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring proper upkeep and preventive maintenance, including the lifecycle management of physical assets. Responsibilities include supervising existing maintenance staff, including skilled trades such as carpenters, and supporting the expansion of future maintenance personnel. This position also includes the coordination of staffing, materials, permitting, and documentation for both construction and maintenance operations. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similarly related field is required. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction management, development of construction strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution or related field is required. Possession of a Florida General Contractor License is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
