Pediatric Care North has been a pediatric leader in the Northland for the last 37 years, providing loving care to children ages newborn through 21 years. Our practice began with two pediatricians and several staff members that are still working with us today! We are proud to offer exceptional and long-standing care to our patients, with many of our first patients now returning with their own children. Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated LPNs and RNs to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to our patients by answering and responding to patient calls. Our ideal candidate is someone who is committed to delivering high-quality care and is eager to grow both personally and professionally within our expanding clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments to determine medical needs and urgency of care
  • Provide accurate and timely triage of patient inquiries, symptoms, and complaints
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient care
  • Educate patients on treatment options and medication instructions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Follow up with patients regarding their health status

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN/RN license in Missouri.
  • BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and medical records management/documentation.
  • Knowledge of disease processes, normal growth and development of all age groups.
  • Community health knowledge and theory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and critical clinical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must operate with cultural sensitivity with all groups of people.
  • General computer skills required, experience with EHR systems is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to handle stressful emergency situations calmly and effectively.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.


Pediatric triage experience is preferred, but will consider candidates who show an eagerness to learn.
