Join our network of Primary and Specialty Care Clinicsย Job DescriptionTriad Complete Healthcare is looking for a kind, compassionate physician to provide pediatric primary care services in the Ponca City Area. Our company prioritizes provider autonomy, quality care, and providing a calm, considerate environment to patients.
Pediatric Primary Health Care Physicians are often the first point of contact for children within the healthcare system, and are responsible for providing preventative services, as well as diagnosis and management of common pediatric health issues. ย This involves the ordering of labs, prescribing of medication, performance of minor procedures,ย  and referral to specialty providers where appropriate. Within the clinic, they must provide oversight and direction to medical assistants and nurses assisting them.
This position also requires medical directorship of the practice, as well as potential prescribing supervision of advanced practice nurse practitioners. Fulfillment of call services for the local hospital, notably of perinatal/postnatal neonates is also required.
Triad Pediatrics will provide total managerial support of the practice, and takes a proactive approach to support providers, so you can focus on doing what you love best โ€“ providing care for pediatric patients. Our priority is to keep the office running in a clean, professional, pleasant, and efficient manner to support providers in their role to provide quality care.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • A medical degree from an accredited institution (MD or DO)
  • Board certified / Board eligible in Pediatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and the public
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, Professional appearance and demeanor, required to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • At least one year of post residency experience preferred but not required. New pediatricians are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills
Communication Skills:ย  To communicate with their patients and colleagues, need excellent listening, speaking and interpersonal skills.ย  They must be able to understand what their patients are telling them, clearly communicate instructions, and build and maintain a trusting relationship.
Risk Management: Responsibly use income to operate the practice and satisfy staffing needs.
Problem Solving:ย  Based on clinical interviews, physical examinations and lab test results, must be able to identify diseases and other health conditions.ย  After making diagnoses, need to produce treatment plans
Critical Thinking:ย  When developing a treatment plan, must be able to evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify the one he or she decides will have the best outcome
Compassion:ย  Must be able to sympathize with sick and also worried, patients and their families
Leadership Skills: Physicians usually provide oversight and direction to other members of the healthcare team such as RNโ€™s and LPNโ€™s.
Good Bedside Manner: Providing a calming, compassionate environment is especially critical in the pediatric setting. A good bedside manner and gentle demeanor with children is absolutely necessary for this position.
