At BoatCraft, our mission is simple: Experience More. We are Northern Michigan’s premier boat dealership, specializing in premium Pontoons, Tri Toons, fishing, and fiberglass boats. We take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience before, during, and long after the sale.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and professional Boat Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is not an order-taking position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating their own opportunities, following up relentlessly, and delivering an outstanding buying experience.

Successful candidates are competitive, organized, coachable, and passionate about helping customers enjoy life on the water.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and pre-owned boats, engines, trailers, docks, lifts, and marine accessories.
  • Generate new business through phone calls, referrals, social media, networking, community events, and prospecting.
  • Respond quickly to internet, phone, and walk-in leads.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and on-water deliveries.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of our product lines and financing options.
  • Accurately maintain customer information and activities in the CRM.
  • Follow BoatCraft’s sales process from first contact through delivery and post-sale follow-up.
  • Assist with boat shows, dealership events, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure an exceptional ownership experience.
  • Maintain a clean, professional showroom and display area.
  • Keep things positive and respectful
