About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Associate to join our Surgical Solutions team in the Medical Products Division. In this position, you will be responsible for selling and promoting both existing and new products across all FDA-approved areas and applications. We are looking for someone passionate about selling state-of-the-art implantable medical devices across the general, plastic, bariatric, and trauma surgery markets, who is energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role will cover Middle and East Tennessee and North Alabama (including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities & Huntsville).
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in the Nashville or Knoxville areas.
Responsibilities
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales forecasts

  • Work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team of sales associates within your region
  • Comply with internal and external practices and procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work "on call" when needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to support product use during procedures
  • Ability to quickly develop strong and effective technical selling skills with new products in new markets
  • Ability to develop relationships with key customers
  • Ability to understand medical/surgical procedures and terminology
  • Ability to travel up to 30% and must reside in the greater Nashville or Knoxville area.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling to both general and plastic surgeons
  • Experience in market development

This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
