Looking for a rewarding summer opportunity that could grow into a school-year position? Join our team at Trevista at Horace Mann as an ECE Lead Teacher for our 2026 Summer Camp Program!
We are seeking energetic, dependable, and engaging educators who are passionate about creating a safe, enriching, and fun environment for children throughout the summer. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on activities, relationship-building, teamwork, and supporting the whole child through meaningful programming and positive mentorship.
Summer Camp runs June 8, 2026, through July 31, 2026, with consistent afternoon hours and opportunities for additional shifts when available. Strong performers may also be considered for continued opportunities during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Schedule
  • Part-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • Regular Hours: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Occasional opportunities for morning hours may be available
What You'll Do
  • Lead engaging enrichment activities and group programming
  • Support positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Maintain compliance with licensing and program expectations
  • Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to support program success
Qualifications
Candidates must meet Colorado ECE Lead Teacher qualifications through education, experience, credentialing, or a combination of qualifying pathways.
Selected candidates must be able to provide supporting documentation within 30 days of employment, including:
  • Transcripts and/or certifications
  • Experience verification letter(s) completed by a former supervisor or HR representative, if applicable
Interview Process
Selected candidates will first be invited to participate in an initial virtual screening interview via Zoom. Accommodations or alternate interview formats can be arranged if needed.
Candidates selected to move forward after the initial screen will participate in a virtual interview with the Site Director. Finalists will then be invited to attend an in-person final interview and site walkthrough at Trevista at Horace Mann.
