Senior Principal, Strategic Planning - NIKE, Inc. Collaborate with C-suite members, Nike leadership, and other members of the strategy team to craft and execute strategies that differentiates Nike in the global marketplace; utilize technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and commercial savvy to craft actionable insights that drive Nike's revenue forward, promoting speed, scale, and bold growth; strategize on the application of emerging technologies , such as GenAI and AI/ML, and digital commerce technologies to drive greater automation, build stickier consumer experiences for our Athletes and enable Nike's product innovation; develop and present high-impact strategies with the capability to synthesize technology, business, and supply chain concepts and communicate insights that drive board-level decision-making; spearhead initiatives for faster, more cost-effective, and superior development of Nike's core products by optimizing processes; drive the modernization of legacy systems with a clear vision of integrating next-gen technologies in direct to consumer and footwear and apparel product creation, production, and logistics systems to maintain competitive advantage; collaborate with cross-functional teams, to translate complex concepts and push for swift execution of strategies; lead meetings with flexibility and adaptability, ensuring agenda control and optimizing outcomes, while being able to spontaneously engage with senior audiences on complex issues; cultivate strong advisory relationships, navigating decision-making mechanisms, and building consensus to accelerate strategic initiatives; and lead as a proactive thought leader, staying abreast of the latest technology and business trends and maintaining technical and business credibility. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Must have a Master's degree Computer Engineering or Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a product-related occupation.
Experience must include:
• Strategic Planning and Business Model Innovation
• Channel Strategy for distribution channel including e-commerce and digital stores, wholesale partnership
• Financial Modeling such as P&L Analysis, ROI, and Forecasting Tools
• Data analytics and trend analysis using SQL, Power BI and Google analytics
• Consumer Insights and Market Research tools including Qualtrics and Nielsen
• Global Market Intelligence Platforms such as Euromonitor, Statista, or IBIS World
• Cross-Functional Program Management tools including JIRA, Asana, and Smartsheet
• Innovation and Business Model Design tools such as Design Thinking Frameworks or Bus Model Canvas
• Executive communication and strategic reporting
