Tree Bucket Operator

Birchcrest Tree and Landscape, a Gunnison Company, has built our reputation on our commitment to excellence for over 40 years. We offer qualified candidates competitive wages and benefits, educational opportunities, and the chance to build your career with a respected industry leader.

Birchcrest Tree and Landscape, Inc. is looking for a year-round Tree Bucket Operator with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the tree care industry.

Duties may include:

  • Trimming and removing trees for our customers. Tree climbing, chipper, log loader operation, and ground cleanup.

Requirements include:

  • Prior experience climbing for a tree-care company
  • Must be able to prune and remove trees in a safe manner while utilizing machinery
  • Experience driving a Bucket Truck
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well with a team of co-workers
  • Experience with safe operation of chainsaws and other pruning equipment
  • Excellent work habits and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • ISA Certified Arborist status, and/or CDL highly desirable but not required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to wear necessary PPE
  • Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments
  • Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment
  • Clean driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights of 10 pounds frequently, and weights of up to 50 pounds
