Known for a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, Tree Specialists offers a collaborative environment where employees can advance their skills alongside certified professionals. As a Crew Leader, you will oversee daily field operations, lead a team of 3-5 arborists, and ensure the highest standards of tree care. This role is ideal for those passionate about tree preservation and who thrive in a leadership position. Now offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a crew of 3-5 arborists in daily field operations, including climbing and aerial lift work.
  • Assign tasks and oversee the execution of pruning, removals, and structural bracing projects.
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to climbers and ground support staff.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality by ensuring adherence to company protocols and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, other crew leaders, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any issues as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a crew in arboricultural services.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of arboricultural services and equipment, including climbing, aerial lifts, stump grinders, trucks, and chippers.
  • Knowledge of ANSI Z133 and A300 standards.
  • ISA or MCA certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • 1b 2a hoisting license, or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
