Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Facility type: LTC/SNF

Location: Durham, NC 27705

Duration: 13 Weeks contract

Shift Timings: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay rate: $38/hr on W2

Pay Period: Weekly

Documents Required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines.
  • Assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving treatment goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver therapy interventions per PT plan of care
  • Document patient progress and response to treatment
  • Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
  • Communicate patient status to supervising PT
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain)
