Job description

HealthPartners is hiring a Treasury Analyst. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's treasury functions, including cash management, banking relationships, treasury-related systems and reporting. The role provides analytical support and operational execution to ensure effective liquidity management, financial risk oversight, and decision support across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent finance/banking experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking, or related finance roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other PC-based financial systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management and across departments. 
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with cash reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of investment accounting, debt administration, or financial risk management concepts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Includes duties that represent 10% or more of the role's time and focus)

1. (60%) - Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Support daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, balance reporting, and analysis of cash flows.
  • Maintain and enhance cash management systems related to collections, disbursements, and reporting.
  • Assist with reconciliation of miscellaneous debits and credits and investigate variances. 
  • Process automated payments. 
  • Support Cash Operations team, as needed.

2. (10%) - Banking & Treasury Relationships

  • Assist in maintaining relationships with banks and other treasury service providers.
  • Support bank account administration, account analysis review, and banking research as needed

3. (10%) - Debt & Investment Support

  • Assist with Debt issuance, compliance and reporting. 
  • Maintain moderately complex investment databases.

4. (10%) - Systems, Controls & Compliance

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain treasury-related reporting tools and systems.
  • Coordinate and monitor credit card processing activities and support enterprise payment collection processes.
  • Assist with compliance with National Automated Clearing House Association requirements. 
  • Participate in Treasury business continuity planning and operational readiness efforts.

5. (10%) - Analysis & Special Projects

  • Provide research and analysis to support treasury-related financial decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with finance, real estate, and operational teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by Treasury leadership.
  • Manage team to provide work direction, training, cross-training, development and support.
