Job Description

Overview:

Visa Global Services Inc. (VGSI) is seeking a Program Manager for Visa's Stablecoin Compliance team to help build and scale the compliance operating model supporting Visa Stablecoin Platform (VSP) and other digital asset initiatives.

This role will serve as the operational lead and partner closely with the Director, Crypto, AML & Sanctions to build and scale the compliance operating model supporting Visa Stablecoin Platform (VSP). The individual will be responsible for driving governance, coordinating cross-functional execution, supporting onboarding and regulatory readiness activities, developing scalable compliance processes, and helping build a global compliance organization as stablecoin products transition from pilot to broader commercialization.

This position is ideal for an individual who combines strong program leadership skills with practical experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets, financial crimes compliance, and process creation in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Execution:

  • Support execution of strategic priorities related to Visa's stablecoin initiatives, including OpenUSD, Visa Stablecoin Platform (VSP), and future digital asset products.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions across multiple workstreams.
  • Establish governance forums, working groups, reporting cadences, and escalation processes.
  • Coordinate activities across Compliance, Product, Technology, Legal, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Crypto, and Commercialization stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, investigations, and related compliance risk management activities.

Compliance Operations & Operating Model Development:

  • Develop and implement scalable compliance operating procedures and workflows in a highly matrixed and complex environment.
  • Support the build-out of onboarding, KYB, KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and investigation processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Product, Technology, Legal, and Operations to establish procedures, standards, documentation, and control frameworks.

Regulatory Readiness & Governance:

  • Coordinate regulatory readiness initiatives, examination support activities, and audit preparedness efforts.
  • Track obligations, deliverables, dependencies, and evidence repositories.
  • Support preparation of documentation, governance materials, and executive updates.
  • Maintain program documentation and records supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.

Crypto Compliance Technology & Vendor Management:

  • Coordinate implementation and optimization of blockchain analytics and compliance technologies.
  • Support testing, deployment, and governance activities involving compliance platforms and investigative tools.
  • Manage relationships, deliverables, and execution activities with vendors, consultants, and strategic partners.

Executive Reporting & Communications:

  • Develop executive presentations, status reports, governance materials, and decision-support documentation.
  • Produce concise summaries of program health, risks, milestones, and key decisions.
  • Facilitate communication across senior stakeholders and business functions.
  • Drive accountability for commitments and action items.

Team & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Support the growth and maturation of the Stablecoin Compliance function.
  • Help establish performance metrics, operating dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and execution support for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Partner closely with compliance analysts and operational teams to improve execution efficiency.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, payments, compliance, risk management, or other regulated financial services environments.
  • Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs, strategic initiatives, or operational transformations.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience building processes, operating models, or governance structures in evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution without direct authority.
  • Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Merkle Science, or similar blockchain analytics platforms.
  • Supporting cryptocurrency, digital asset, blockchain, or stablecoin businesses.
  • AML, sanctions, KYC/KYB, investigations, fraud, or financial crimes compliance programs.
  • Regulatory examinations, audits, licensing efforts, or compliance remediation programs.
  • CAMS, CFE, CFCS, ICA, or similar professional certification.


Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $116,300 to $186,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
