Job description

About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a global blockchain payments company building and operating infrastructure to move money instantly, reliably, and at internet scale, with the mission to move all money onchain. It is building the Polygon Open Money Stack, an open and integrated stack of services and technologies to instantly and reliably move money anywhere, and put it to work. Its infrastructure has facilitated trillions of dollars in onchain value transfer and supported millions of transactions daily for some of the globe's largest banks, fintechs, enterprises, and consumer applications.

The Role

As Director of Product, Wallets & Treasury, you will champion how businesses and consumers store and manage money across Polygon’s Open Money Stack—and what that money can do while it is there.

  • You will own the product strategy spanning enterprise wallets, custody, treasury infrastructure, access to onchain financial products from money at rest.

  • For our enterprise customers, that means solving the hard operational problems behind holding money onchain: secure wallet infrastructure, permissions and policies, custody models, treasury operations, compliance, liquidity, reconciliation, and integration with existing financial systems.

  • It also means making onchain money radically easier to hold, control, move, and put to work for everyone who uses the OMS.

  • Your goal is to make Polygon the best place for global money to live—and the easiest place to decide what happens to that money next.

Where you'll have impact
  • Enterprise wallet strategy. Define the product strategy for how businesses hold and control stablecoins and other digital assets across custodial and non-custodial environments.

  • Onchain treasury. Build the products and infrastructure that help businesses manage balances, liquidity, permissions, policies, counterparties, and treasury operations onchain.

  • Programmable money. Make it easy for businesses to establish rules around how money can be accessed, authorized, transferred, automated, and deployed through APIs and programmable infrastructure.

  • Productive capital. Create pathways for businesses and users to put idle capital to work through appropriate onchain yield, liquidity, and DeFi opportunities.

  • Wallet-to-payment experiences. Connect money at rest to money in motion. Work across the Open Money Stack so that stored balances can move seamlessly into payments, payouts, transfers, and other financial workflows.

  • Custody and control models. Develop a strong product point of view across custodial, non-custodial, embedded, and hybrid wallet architectures—and make those choices understandable and useful to customers.

  • Enterprise customers. Work directly with fintechs, payment companies, financial institutions, marketplaces, and global businesses to understand how they hold and manage money today and where existing infrastructure falls short.

  • Ecosystem strategy. Work with wallets, custodians, stablecoin issuers, DeFi protocols, liquidity providers, and other partners to create an integrated product rather than a collection of disconnected infrastructure.

  • Execution and adoption. Take products from thesis through launch and scaled adoption. Define success metrics, make product and technical tradeoffs, and work deeply with engineering, design, go-to-market, and ecosystem teams.

Who you are

You are a senior product leader who has built products where wallet infrastructure, payments, and enterprise financial operations intersect.

You understand what happens after an enterprise decides to use stablecoins—not just how a transaction gets from A to B, but where the money lives, who controls it, how access is governed, how it is reconciled, and how it can be deployed efficiently.

You likely bring:

  • Significant product leadership experience across enterprise wallets, custody, payments, treasury, fintech, or crypto infrastructure.

  • Experience building enterprise-grade wallet or digital asset infrastructure at a company such as Fireblocks, Coinbase, Circle, Anchorage, Stripe, Block, or a similarly sophisticated financial infrastructure company.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise wallet architecture, including custody, key management, signing, permissions, policy engines, transaction workflows, and security.

  • Experience with both custodial and non-custodial wallets and a strong perspective on when different architectures make sense.

  • A track record of successfully shipping payments, money movement, treasury, or financial infrastructure products at meaningful scale.

  • Strong knowledge of stablecoins and decentralized finance, including how onchain liquidity and yield products can make stored capital more useful.

  • Firsthand understanding of the operational needs of businesses managing money: security, controls, compliance, reconciliation, liquidity, reliability, and integration with existing systems.

  • An understanding of consumer wallet experiences and the ability to distinguish between the needs of businesses, developers, and end users.

  • Enough technical depth to work closely with blockchain and infrastructure engineers on complex systems without losing sight of the customer problem.

  • Strong product judgment in environments where mistakes involve real money, security, and trust.

  • The ability to turn a broad strategic vision into a focused roadmap—and then ship it.
