Description

As a Citizens Bank Treasury Management Specialist, you will provide support for customers and internal partners for all Treasury Management related products and services such as ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Online Wire Origination, Check Positive Pay, Account Analysis, Business Bill Pay. This position will primarily support Treasury Management related activities and may work in partnership with a Treasury Management Officer.  The Treasury Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the department’s objectives and possesses an advanced level of technical expertise and understanding of the benefits and value Treasury Management services provide.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service and support for Treasury Management customers and internal partners for all Treasury Management related products and services, including but not limited to, ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Online Wire Origination, Check Positive Pay, Account Analysis, Business Bill Pay. 
  • Provide back-up support and service for internal partners for all Digital Banking related products and services, including, but not limited to, Mobile Banking, Mobile Deposit, Business and Consumer Bill Pay, Electronic documents, and Personal Financial Management tools. 
  • Present information, troubleshoot problems, and respond to a wide range of questions received by Treasury Management customers through a variety of channels. 
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, effectively communicate needed corrections with customers and/or internal partners prior to processing.  
  • Complete Treasury Management system set-ups and changes for new and existing Treasury Management customers. Communicate status as needed to ensure time frames are met and steps for completion are relayed as needed. 
  • Consider associated risks for the customer and the Bank in all aspects of role.
  • May provide virtual or in-person customer training for systems and services in partnership with, or as back-up to Treasury Management Officer as needed. 
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Compile data to complete department reports and tracking. Regularly monitor customer processing and activity of treasury management services for oversight. 
  • Assist with document gathering for ACH, RDC, and Wire Audits. 
  • Send periodic customer notifications, training recommendations, fraud awareness and resources, NACHA Rules subscriptions, etc. via email or through the Treasury Management platform in bulk, to customer segments, or individual users. 
  • Prioritize the workload as needed to complete time sensitive work, assigned tasks, customer requests, system set-ups and changes, and additional projects to ensure all work is completed within the required timeframes. 
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise information and instructions through all channels and mediums, at all times. 
  • Apply well developed critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and conduct research using all available resources, systems, product knowledge, banking knowledge, and sound judgement to identify the root cause of a problem and provide sound resolutions with streamlined efficiency.   
  • Use advanced writing and documentation skills to create, update, and maintain customer facing guides, internal guides, department procedures, and fillable forms. 
  • Applying initiative, master all system functions and processes, and stay up to date on system enhancements, changes and implementation of new systems and features.
  • Maintain the safety, integrity, and confidentiality of customer information.  
  • Help maintain a safe and secure work environment. 
  • Build, develop, and maintain partnerships with teammates and other departments to maximize effectiveness and to best serve our customers.  
  • Regular and reliable attendance.  
  • Comply with all applicable policies and procedures as well as governing laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to: performing all assigned duties under the Bank’s compliance program and related laws and regulations. Successfully completing all mandatory compliance training including BSA and any other training as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum qualifications are required to successfully perform the job. These are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years banking experience directly supporting business customers.
  • 1 year experience working in a capacity that partners with or supports Treasury Management platforms and services.
  • Strong understanding of business entity structures and Beneficial Ownership.
  • Strong technical ability with advanced skills using a Windows based PC, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of retail banking and back-office operations.
  • Understanding of ACH payments including NACHA Rules.
  • Experience with Financial Software, specifically reporting features and file exports.
