What's a career like at BAE Systems? Remarkable! BAE Systems, Inc. is looking for a motivated, analytical and driven team member to assume the role of Treasury Analyst. The member of the Treasury team is responsible for Treasury operations in the U.S. and ensures compliance with U.S. Financial Accounting Policies along with the policies and procedures promulgated by the PLC Treasury Department as approved by the Banking Committee, a subcommittee of the PLC Board of Directors.
Specific duties include:
  • Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst supports BAE Systems, Inc. treasury activities related to cash management, investment, and intercompany loans to optimize the use of excess cash, in coordination with the PLC Treasury Department
  • Support Inc. Treasury and all Inc. business units with treasury matters such as banking services, online bank portal support, standby letters of credit invoices, hedging, etc.
  • Support relationships with our banks and financial institutions
  • Assist with the initiation, oversight, and management for the opening, modification, or closure of all BAE Systems, Inc. & Subsidiaries U.S. bank accounts
  • Support the execution and management of both the U.S. and U.K. intercompany settlement processes
  • Support the management and daily operation of all U.S online bank portals, including all compliance requirements. Will serve as a system administrator for all Inc. businesses on each bank portal
  • Responsible for electronic funds transfers
  • Assist with the management of liquidity for the U.S. operations, to include investments, daily cash activities, forecasts, weekly reporting, etc.
  • Support foreign exchange, trade finance, and KYC initiatives as needed

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
  • Strong demonstrated command of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and BI)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, both internal and external
  • Conceptual and innovative thinking

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Experience with Treasury management systems and online bank portals
