POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Treasury Technology Specialist supports and contributes to the design, development, and deployment of technology-enabled solutions to enhance treasury operations. This role is responsible for developing data pipelines, automated processes, and reporting tools that streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and provide real-time visibility across cash, liquidity, and risk.
While operating within Treasury, the role functions as a technology and automation specialist-leveraging programming, data integration, and analytics tools to reduce manual processes, improve controls, and improve scalability of treasury processes. The position reports to the Assistant Treasurer and partners closely with Treasury and Finance teams to support delivery of sustainable, data-driven solutions that support decision-making and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop automation solutions using Python, Snowflake and R to streamline treasury data collection, validation, and reporting
Build and enhance automated workflows and scripts to eliminate manual processes across cash management, liquidity reporting, and risk analytics
Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Snowflake, Access, and other analytics platforms to deliver real-time insights to Treasury leadership
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and internal controls within treasury operations
Contribute to treasury initiatives and projects, including system enhancements, process redesign, and digital transformation efforts
Analyze business requirements and data to develop technical solutions and resolve moderately complex issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
4-8 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions using Python, Visual Basic for Applications, or R
Experience building dashboards and data visualizations
Experience working with large data sets, data transformation, and system integration
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working independently on projects or initiatives with limited supervision
