Travel Sales Associate (Remote)
Join AAA Club Alliance as a Full-Time Travel Sales Associate!
Do you have a passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer service? AAA Club Alliance is looking for motivated Travel Sales Associates to help members and customers plan memorable travel experiences-all from the comfort of home. In this role, you'll assist customers through phone, email, and web chat, providing expert guidance and booking air, hotel, car rental, and rail reservations. Using a consultative sales approach, you'll recommend travel solutions that meet customer needs while building lasting relationships and driving sales.
Work Schedule (all hours are Eastern Time:
Sunday - Off
Monday - 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - 9 am to 5:30 pm
Thursday - 9 am to 5 pm
Friday - 9am to 5 pm
Saturday - 9 am to 4 pm
Remote Work Eligibility
To be considered, applicants must reside in one of the following locations:
  • Connecticut; Delaware; Indiana; Kansas; Kentucky; Maryland; New Jersey; Ohio; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; South Dakota; Virginia; Washington, DC; West Virginia

What You'll Do
  • Assist members and customers via phone, email, and web chat with travel reservations and inquiries.
  • Book domestic air, hotel, rail, and car rental reservations.
  • Promote preferred travel partners and AAA travel products.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products and services.
  • Use airline reservation systems, GDS platforms, and travel partner booking tools.
  • Ensure compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and travel documentation using DocuWare.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and performance goals.
  • Stay informed on travel products, services, and policy updates.
  • Assist members with hotel reservations for planned road trips.
  • Participate in testing new systems and processes as needed.
  • Deliver creative solutions and exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of travel sales and/or Retails Sales experience.
  • Experience with hotel, airline, car rental, or rail reservations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume contact center environment.
  • Comfortable assisting customers by phone, email, and web chat.
  • Proficiency with computers, GDS systems, and travel booking platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across the organization.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or holidays when business needs require.

Schedule & Training
  • Remote work from an approved state.
  • First-shift schedules available.
  • One weekend day required each week (shorter weekend hours).
  • Five (5) weeks of paid virtual training, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM EST. (Mandatory)
  • All computer equipment provided by AAA Club Alliance.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive starting hourly rate of $16.00-$21.00, based on geographic location and experience; plus Monthly performance and sales incentives
