Job description

Position: Phlebotomy Technician (Phlebotomist)
Location: San Diego CA
Pay scale: $25 Per hour
Shift: M-F 8 to 5


Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques.
  • Label and properly store blood samples for laboratory testing.
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood draws.
  • Ensure aseptic and safe procedures during blood collection.
  • Interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner, addressing their concerns.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of specimens.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Phlebotomy Technician program or equivalent training.
  • Phlebotomy Technician certification.
