The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee inventory accuracy, control, and optimization across production sites, warehouses, distribution centers, and retail channels.
What You'll Do
  • Inventory Control & Accuracy
    • Maintain accurate stock levels across all locations.
    • Lead & conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
    • Establish clear inventory control policies for returns, damaged goods, and obsolete stock.
    • Audit inventory at all sites on a regular cadence.
  • Systems & Reporting
    • Manage inventory within MRP/WMS systems (ShipHero, Katana, etc).
    • Build dashboards and reports on turnover, shrinkage, carrying costs, capacity utilization, and service levels.
    • Establish KPIs that provide real-time visibility into inventory health.
  • Operations & Optimization
    • Use data-driven insights to anticipate seasonal and regional trends.
    • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient receiving, put away, storage, and distribution.
    • Standardize SKU management, labeling, and documentation.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Manage inventory accuracy at 3PL/Off Site locations.
    • Ensure put away, downstocking, return put back process are being followed and audited
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Monitor shrinkage, theft, and vendor accuracy risks.
    • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and train inventory control staff to ensure process discipline across all sites.
    • Partner with procurement, finance, and sales to align stock management with business goals.
    • Work with IT to enhance automation and system integrations.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7+ years in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
    • Hands-on experience with MRP/WMS systems and analytics tools
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in inventory control methodologies (FIFO, JIT, ABC analysis).
    • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset
