Travel Fixture Installer - Remodel Team

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Work Location: Regional Travel (On the Road)

Join Signature Retail Services' Travel Remodel Team and help transform major home improvement retailers including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. As a Travel Fixture Installer, you'll travel weekly, work alongside a professional remodel crew, and play a hands-on role in large-scale store remodels, fixture installations, department resets, and retail transformations.

Whether your background is in retail or remodel construction, carpentry, warehouse operations, fixture installation, remodel merchandising, general labor, or other hands-on trades, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do

This is a physically active, fast-paced role where you'll:

  • Execute large-scale retail remodels and store resets
  • Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays
  • Support department teardowns, rebuilds, and merchandising projects
  • Set products, signage, and displays according to planograms and project specifications
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts (training provided)
  • Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards throughout each project
  • Work closely with teammates, project leaders, and store management to complete projects on schedule
  • Complete in-store reporting using web based handheld devices
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • All other job-related instructions and job-related tasks should be completed as directed by management.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance
  • Ability to travel weekly throughout your assigned region and surrounding states (home most weekends)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, tape measures, and box cutters
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team setting or working independently
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and in-store reporting
  • Forklift or OSHA certification is a plus, but not required- training provided
  • This is a physically active role that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and remaining active throughout overnight shifts
  • Regular lifting, moving, and handling of products, fixtures, and materials up to 50+ lbs.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.

Travel Requirements

  • 100% weekly travel throughout your assigned region and surrounding states
  • Company-paid hotels and airfare (room sharing applies)
  • Home most weekends
  • Per diem provided during overnight travel
  • Mileage and drive-time reimbursement
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.
