Job description

Traveling Construction Laborer for our Data Cabling Infrastructure Installation Company

We are looking for a labor worker to join our team and travel with us to nationwide job-sites, most being new construction. Previous experience with pulling & terminating data cable is a plus, but not a requirement. We will train.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Must be willing to work overtime, standby, & some weekends.
  • Typical work week could be approximately 50-60 hrs a week depending on job site requirements & deadlines.
  • The job may entail heavy physical labor, which requires strength & agility. Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Projects may be outdoors, in all weather & temperature extremes.
  • Safety equipment, or PPE is mandatory, such as hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, and appropriate footwear. We will provide the majority of previously stated PPE.
  • Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, & balance.
  • Must be able to read & understand warning signs & labels on a construction site & interpret plans, drawings, written instructions, & specifications.
  • Must be capable of working as a member of a team.
  • Proof of work eligibility.
  • A US citizen.
  • Must speak English fluently.
  • Transportation to & from job site. (Most travel you will ride with one of our lead techs.)
  • Required to pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Required to pass thorough background check.
  • Must have clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation with required insurance coverage.
  • Must possess high school diploma or GED.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
  • MEWP certificate is a plus.
