Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a PCU/MedSurg Float position requiring a compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Float position between the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Med Surg departments within a hospital setting
- Each unit has 25 beds
- PCU patient ratio is 5:1 and Med Surg patient ratio is 7:1
- Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No block scheduling available
- Required to work every other weekend and holiday
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Meditech EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across both PCU and Med Surg units as needed based on staffing demands
- ASAP start date available
