American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care unit position requiring a PA or Compact RN license and willingness to work independently as charge nurse on evening shifts.

Details
  • Work in the LTC unit of a 58-bed skilled-nursing facility within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
  • Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required
  • RN will function as charge nurse, typically the only RN on duty during evening shifts
  • Uses Point Click Care charting system, experience not required
  • Floating required in rotation with facility staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards
Requirements
  • Active RN license (PA or Compact) required in-hand prior to start
Additional Information
  • Provide skilled nursing care within a rural Critical Access Hospital setting
  • Facility offers medical, surgical, diagnostic, coronary/intensive care, and 24-hour emergency services
  • Holiday coverage expected
  • RTO must be approved before assignment and confirmed in the work order confirmation
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
