Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 5 years of experience and an AL or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work on the Medical Surgical Combination unit (3400 Med-Surg floor) of a hospital setting
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • 18-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Rotating weekend hours required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required
  • Uses Meditech EHR system
Requirements
  • Active RN license (AL State or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
Additional Information
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg patients
  • Team player willing to take ownership of the position
  • Royal blue scrub color required
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Local candidates may be considered at a reduced local rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
  • Weekly Monday orientations scheduled
