Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.

Details
  • Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
  • Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases including burn cases
  • Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM on weekdays
  • 12-hour shifts with no block scheduling
  • Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
  • No on-call requirements
Requirements
  • Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Level 1 trauma OR experience required
  • Experience in high-volume, high-acuity hospital environments with complex and diverse cases
  • Strong OR skills checklist ratings required
  • Burn experience preferred

  • This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for complex, fast-paced surgical cases
  • Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospital settings will not be considered
