Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position on night shifts, requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent med/surg or rehab experience.

Details
  • Inpatient Rehab Unit located on the 4th floor of a hospital setting
  • 16-bed unit with a team of approximately 20 staff members
  • Patient population includes post-stroke, neuro/ortho surgical, and medical patients requiring increased therapy
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating every 3rd weekend required
  • Floating to any medical floor may be required
  • EMR system: Meditech (rehab documentation knowledge preferred)
  • Equipment used includes Welch Allyn devices
Requirements
  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • ACLS or PALS preferred
  • Basic Dysrhythmia course completion preferred
  • CRRN certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in med/surg or rehab
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility โ€” local candidates are not eligible
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Royal blue scrub top and bottom required; black scrub bottoms are also acceptable
  • Unit has received a Unit of Distinction Award
  • Staff bring extensive experience with an average of approximately 20 years in inpatient rehab
  • Highly engaged leadership with strong resources and support for inpatient rehab services
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work environment
