Job description

Summary

Department:  Stepdown Intermediate Care

Shift Timings: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift

Per Week: 36 Hours

Medical/Surgical Neurovascular/Renal Unit, 38 beds, No drip titrations. Lab collects blood specimens. RNs start IVs but IV team available for additional support. No performing EKGs or discontinuing sheaths. Telemetry with remote monitoring. Ceil Blue scrubs, Cerner OneChart.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • ​​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
