GENERAL SUMMARY

This Senior Web Developer will share responsibility for our cloud-based applications written in Angular, Node.js and will be responsible for extending the capabilities of our middle tier utilizing C#, .Net Core, in microservices environment using Docker containers.ย  As a Senior Web Developer, you will work closely with the Manager of Web Development, the VP of IT, EPMO and business partners on business and technical requirements to support the delivery of optimized Web applications for our customers.ย  You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills.ย  Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.

This position will be with Stratacor, an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Develop tools, applications, and APIs by producing clean and efficient code
  2. Write code in Angular, Node JS, C#, .Net Core, Docker, HTML, CSS
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix bugs and improve products
  4. Document development phases and monitor systems
  5. Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  6. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing systems.
  7. Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required:

  1. Strong communication and problem-solving experience
  2. Experience delivering software using an Agile/Scrum methodology
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
  4. Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD code review practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.); and/or equivalent experience
  2. 5+ years of Angularย 
  3. 5+ years of Docker and Docker Swarm
  4. 5+ years C# and .Net Core
  5. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (i.e., SQL, Mongo)
  6. Strong front-end (i.e., java script, type script) and modern frameworks, and back-end proficiency

Preferred:

  1. Experience with Node j.s.
  2. Experience with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (i.e., Jenkins, Azure, Aws)
  3. Experience with AI workflows

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
  2. Weight Lifting Requirements: Normal office work up to 20 lbs.

The starting salary range for this position is between $93,000 and $116,000 annually. Salary offers will typically be made in the listed range. The Company takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including merit process and internal pay alignment when determining the salary for potential new team member's. In compliance with state and federal regulations, a potential new team member's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.ย
