Job description

Good Shepherd Medical Center – Hermiston, OR
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week
Local Pay: $60/hour
Traveler Pay: $65/hour blended
Traveler Weekly Gross: $2,340/week

TEEMA is hiring a Polysomnography Technician / Sleep Technologist / Sleep Tech for a consistent night shift schedule for a medical center contract in Hermiston, Oregon.

This role is ideal for an RPSGT or RRT-SDS with experience performing overnight sleep studies, scoring sleep tests, and supporting patients receiving CPAP, BiPAP or oxygen therapy.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform overnight polysomnography sleep studies

  • Set up and monitor patients for PSG, MSLT and MWT

  • Apply electrodes using the 10–20 System

  • Monitor physiological data and identify artifact or abnormalities

  • Troubleshoot CPAP, BiPAP, PAP therapy and oxygen

  • Score studies using AASM guidelines

  • Educate patients on sleep testing and therapy

  • Complete accurate charting and documentation

  • Work with physicians and clinical teams to support patient care

Requirements
  • Graduate of a Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program

  • Active RPSGT credential through BRPT or RRT-SDS credential through NBRC

  • Sleep lab, sleep center or respiratory therapy experience preferred

  • Strong patient care, communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently on night shift

Pay Details

Local: $60/hour
Traveler: $65/hour blended
Weekly Gross: $2,340 based on 36 hours

Traveler package includes:

  • Taxable Pay: $33/hour

  • Weekly Taxable: $1,188

  • Non-Taxable Stipend: $32/hour equivalent

  • Weekly Stipend: $1,152
