Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Adult) Night Shift travel position in Vermont, requiring at least 3 years of acute care experience and a VT or compact RN license.

Details
  • General Med/Surg unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom
  • Primarily adult patient population with occasional pediatric patients
  • Provides comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Meditech EMR experience preferred
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active VT RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience required
  • Flu shot required โ€” no exceptions
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the Nursing Process, addressing adult and occasional pediatric patients' medical, surgical, and holistic needs
  • Works under the accountability of the Unit Director, collaborating closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor on shift
  • This is not a dedicated pediatric floor โ€” candidates with exclusively pediatric RN experience will not be considered
  • All required credentials must be uploaded five business days prior to the start date
