Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and Epic charting experience.
Job Details
• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting,
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (40 hours),
• Uses Epic EMR for charting,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Cath Lab specialty required,
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred,
• Registered ARRT required, or RCIS required within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification, RCIS, or RCES required,
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required,
• Fluoroscopy Certification required,
• Active license required if applicable,
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date,
• Epic charting experience required,
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures under RN supervision,
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures,
• Act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions during procedures,
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room,
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post-procedure care,
• Maintain unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures,
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per departmental standards,
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives,
• Radiation badges to be supplied by the vendor,
• Returning employees must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a new travel assignment
